Christen Moffat

Christen Moffat grew up along the front range of the Southern Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Her favorite activities include spending time with family and friends, horticulture, permaculture, gardening, cooking, and baking. At a young age, Christen was introduced to the family tax and financial business accumulating over two decades of experience in business management. She studied economics at Colorado College, ecological farming techniques at Seeds & Soil Farm in Palmer, Alaska, and attained hundreds of field hours in organic cold-weather farming and preservation techniques. Christen found that the key to introducing great food is through local fresh organic ingredients, and she has been exploring creative and innovative ways to preserve the harvest during the long harsh winters of Alaska. Christen has dedicated over twenty years to being a military spouse, loving mother and wife who is always ready for the next challenge.
