Chef Kevin Moffat

Kevin Moffat grew up along the shores of the Chesapeake Bay in Southern Maryland. His favorite activities include spending time with family, friends, hunting, fishing, and cooking. Hunting and fishing have always connected him to the outdoors leading him to Palmer, Alaska after a career of over two decades in the United States Army as a medic. Highlights of his education include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with concentrations in Natural Resources and Conservation, Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician Certification (20yrs), Basic Life Support Provider Certification, Associates in Culinary Arts & Certificate in Business. His mission is to bring great food and culinary innovation to communities across Alaska.

Additionally, Kevin gained intermediate to expert experience in customer service, management, supply chain logistics, cross-functional teams, emergency response, financial management, organizational leadership, training and mentoring, process improvement, analytical and critical thinking skills, quantitative and qualitative analysis, compliance, safety and security, humans resources, team building, critical thinking, and project analysis.
